OUR STUDENTS PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE ART EXHIBITION

All Year 3 - 6 students have been learning how to use digital cameras to take 'good photos'.

From Monday 7 June,  as part of their homework the children are being asked to take photos using a WATER theme.  They are then asked to select the one they like the best and either email it to me, jporter@ponsprim.school.nz, or send it to school on a USB drive or cd.  I will be printing everyone's photos to display at the Art Exhibition early Term 3.

Parents this is an independent task that the children are very capable of doing.  Please offer support in discussing ideas for their photos but they must take the photo themselves.  I thank you in advance for your support.

ICT ENRICHMENT 2010

This class is held on a Thursday afternoon and this year a selected group of children are learning how to update the class and individual pages on this website. Our goal is for the students to become familiar with how it works so that we can then go on to teach the others. Currently the group is two students from each Kowhai Class. Check out their class pages to see the progress they are making.

EVEREADY COLLECT

 BARCODES

COMPETITION

Collect barcodes from the Eveready battery packs and bring them to Miss Porter in the ICT room.  The more barcodes the greater are our chances of winning some computer equipment for our school.
