Know-a-thon

This term the whole school is participating in a fundraiser for the school called a Know-a-thon.  All the students received a sponsor card and a sheet of questions at the end of last term that they had to find out the answers to.  At the same time they had to collect sponsors from amongst friends and family.  The test is on Friday 23 July.  The class with the most money wins a pizza lunch!

Fizzing And Foaming

Our topic this term is Fizzing And Foaming.  We are going to make bath bombs and design their packaging to sell at Guy Fawkes in term four.

  Pasifika And Grandparents Day

On Wednesday 9th of June our school had a Pasifika and Grandparents Day.  This is when all the students in the school dressed up in bright colourful clothes that remind you of the Pacific Islands.  On the same day the people that could,  invited their Grandparents to school  and gave them a tour and showed them some of their work.  Mrs Malcolm even supplied them with cup of tea if they got tired.   Mr Watson brought in his robot  from Auckland University to entertain us some of the grandparents.  It was a successful day!

Most students in our class have now finished their T-Shirts for art.  Mrs Malcolm has let us put our disc work into the school art exibition in week four as well.  Don't they look fabulous.
