Welcome to my page! Feel free to read all of my page. If your wish is to read all of my page, then it is granted. This page tells you about my learning. There is a cool video for you to watch and some more you can choose from after you watch that one. There is also a cool poster for you to read at the end of my page and it tells you a bit of information about me. TOPIC

On Monday 30 August, we made more bath bombs. I brought in a tray with 20 molds in it. Guess how many our group made. 23! It's because the 20 shells were quite small, and we managed to use up all of our mixture. That was a lot of fun. On Wednesday 1 September, Rooms 1, 2, and 5 went to the Tip Top Factory. We learnt all about ice cream and how it is made. We learnt a little bit about packaging on the ice cream and who the ice cream should be sold to. When we were about to leave, we got a free ice cream. I had a boysenberry ice cream dipped in chocolate. Yum! 

KNOWATHON

Our school has had a Know-a-thon. A Knowathon is like a big quiz. We have been researching the answers for 7 weeks. The following prizes are two laptops, one iPod Nano, and a bike. There are also pizza lunches for the classes who raise the most money. I got 81 out of 90 questions correct, I raised $55.00, and I had 9 sponsors in total. 7 of them gave $5.00, and 2 of them gave $10.00, and those two sponsors are my parents.

MATHS

For maths, we have been looking at different stratigies to use to work out hard addition problems. The addition stratigies you can use are Place Value, Rounding and Compensating, Compatible Numbers, and Algorithm. The subtraction stratigies are Equal Additions, Place Value, and Algorithm.                                                                

WRITING

For writing, we have been learning about procedures. A procedure is supposed to tell you how to do or make something.

We have been mainly learning about them. That's why we have only written two procedures. The last one was a poem called Yucky Soup, and we had to make a procedure out of the poem.

The first one was how to brush your teeth, and brushong your teeth is pretty easy and it went well for all of us. We knew all the steps you need to do and all the equipment you need. The current one we are doing is an article called Grow your own Crystals. I am doing sugar crystals, even though they take 3 weeks to grow and epsom salt crystals take 3 days to grow.

ART

For art, we have been making shirts. We needed fabric but it was actually paper. If you had finished your shirt early, you could do a Delaunay's disc work and it was basically lots of circles everywhere. If you had finished both of those, that means that you had two chances to win something at the art exhibition!

 GLOGSTER

At ICT time, we have been working on a glogster poster. This is my poster. It may take a little while to load fully, but it will come.

There is a little mistake. One of the stars on the top of the right green text page covers up a word. It says town but it is supposed to be town hall.
