 Hi i'm George, I'm in Mr Jones's year five class and I love reading and writing.      

I have just got into Kowhai Drama for the second half of the year and I am also in

the Madrigal choir which has just won gold in the Kidsing compitition.

Here is some of my persuasive writing.

 In my opinion Goldilocks is just a little girl who lost her way and wasn’t taught proper manners. It is outrageous that people are considering her for these supposed “crimes”!

Firstly, how can you call Goldilocks a thief? She didn’t even take anything from the house! The porridge was going cold, so the bears were lucky that they didn’t have to eat cold, murky, yucky porridge. What a terrible fate that would have been.

Secondly, it is the bears fault for not locking the door. Who wouldn’t when there are all types of mysterious creatures lurking in the woods?

Her mother must also have some of the blame… Goldilocks’ mother hadn’t taught her any basic manners. How neglectful! Her mother wasn’t keeping an eye on her and that’s how it all started!

So this little girl has been deeply neglected and has been accused of numerous charges such as vandalism, trespassing and thievery. Only a trained criminal could accomplish such things! I truly believe that Goldilocks is innocent and ask the people in this community to stop treating her like a criminal.
